Updated library page and message to graduates

Go to http://library.nycenet.edu/common/servlet/presenthomeform.do?l2m=Home&tm=Home to see all of the new links posted on the library homepage. The 'other libraries' and 'for young adults' links will be especially helpful and fun over the summer months.

Also, I want to say congratulations to the graduating class of 2009. I have so enjoyed seeing your faces in the library over the years and watching you mature into young adults full of creative ideas and big dreams for the future. I'm very proud of you and I wish you all the best as you move on to the next chapter of your lives. Of course, I must leave you with a thought on the importance of reading good books in order to achieve your goals. Here is a quote by Mark Twain:

"The man [or woman] who does not read good books has no advantage over the man who cannot read them."

Ultimately, you are your own best teacher. What you choose to put into your brain will determine the course of your life.

Choose only the best for yourself because you are worth it!

P.S. There are still lots of library books that need to be returned. So, please bring back your books ASAP to the library. Thanks! And, you are always welcome in my library. Feel free to visit anytime or send me an e-mail. I'd love to hear how you are doing.
