Thanks to Ms. Rita Williams-Garcia! The author visit yesterday was fantastic and somehow even better than last year. It was extra special because it was her birthday. We enjoyed learning about Rita's life and her stories. Her animated personality and interesting book topics were both entertaining and educational. You should definitely check out her books for children and young adults, such as:
